Red Cloud High School seeks to give students the foundation they need to not only pursue post-secondary education, but also become successful members of the community. Ninety-three percent of the class of 2003 are currently attending college, technical school, or serving in the military.

To learn and pass on Lakota culture and language
To learn and pass on the Catholic faith
To seek 100% student enrollment in post-secondary education

Student Successes

More graduates from Red Cloud High are successful in pursuing further education than from any other Indian school in the country; 100% of the 2008 graduating class enrolled in institutions of higher education or entered the US military
Eight 2008 graduates were awarded the prestigious GATE Millennium Scholarship to tie with one other school nationally for the highest amount of GATE Scholarship Recipients.
Two Red Cloud alumni were presented the Spirit of Creighton Award, the single highest honor given by Creighton University, in the last five years.
A Red Cloud High School student won first place in the National Science Fair for the third consecutive year.
Red Cloud is one of only eleven schools across the United States to collaborate with NASA in its THEMIS project.
