With a record of seventeen wins and six loses, the Red Cloud Lady Crusaders entered the Girls State "A" Basketball Tournament seeded seven.

Their first match-up was against number one seeded West Central. The Lady Crusaders were outscored 76-63 for a move to the consolation bracket.

Their second match-up was turned out to be a good one as the Red Cloud Lady Crusaders beat the Stanley County Lady Buffalos 53-48 for a spot in the consolation championship game.

In the end, a tough lost against the Sisseton Redmen 69-60 put the Red Cloud Lady Crusaders in 6th Place at the Girls State "A" Basketball Tournament.
